How to use the platform
A step-by-step guide for everyone on the Donapa marketplace — visitors and buyers, listing agents, and the management team.
For visitors & buyers
Finding a property, arranging a viewing and paying the site-visit fee — no account needed.
Browse properties →Open the Properties page to see every published listing. Filter by listing type (for sale, for rent, partnership), category and district — or type what you are looking for in the search box at the top of any page.
Each listing shows photos, the asking price (or "Available Upon Request"), the reference number, category, district and full description. Exact location details are protected and are shared through an arranged site visit.
On any property page, fill in the site visit form with your name, phone number and email. A site-visit fee applies — you can pay instantly by mobile money or card, or by bank transfer with a proof-of-payment upload. Our team then contacts you to arrange the visit with the responsible agent.
Online payments run through a secure hosted checkout. If you pay by bank transfer, upload your payment proof on the payment page and management will confirm it.
Use the Contact page, the floating WhatsApp button, or call the numbers at the top of the site for anything else — including business consultancy services.
For agents
From registration and verification to publishing listings and handling forwarded properties in the Agent Portal.
Become an agent →Open the Agent Portal and create your account. Donapa works with one agent per district, so your district is part of your registration.
From your agent dashboard, complete verification by submitting your NIDA number and a copy of your identity document. Management reviews and approves your account — you can prepare listings meanwhile, but they publish only once you are verified.
Choose "New listing" and fill in the property details: title, category, district, price (or price upon request), description, and clear photos. Pick a tier — Basic or Premium — which determines the listing fee and visibility.
Submit the listing for management review. A listing fee is raised at submission, payable by mobile money, card, or bank transfer with proof. Your listing shows as "Pending approval" while management reviews it.
Approved: management assigns the official property reference number and the listing publishes once your fee is cleared. Changes requested: open the listing, make the requested updates and resubmit. Rejected: the notes explain why. Note — once a listing is approved it is locked and can no longer be edited.
Management may forward a property to you for a site visit or follow-up. Forwarded properties appear in "Forwarded to me" with the released location details and the purpose of the forward.
Every decision on your listings and every forward reaches you as an in-app notification — check the bell icon in your portal.
The life of a listing
For management
Running the marketplace from the Management Console — approvals, verifications, payments and the public website.
Open the console →The Management Console dashboard shows everything that needs a decision: pending listings, agent verifications, unconfirmed payments and new site-visit requests — plus the freshest listings live on the market. The Managing Director additionally sees the revenue panel.
Open a listing from the queue to see the full submission. Approve it — entering the official property reference number (e.g. DNP-PR-00023) — request changes with notes to the agent, or reject it. Approved listings are locked from further editing and publish automatically once the listing fee clears.
Review each agent's NIDA number and identity document from the Agents section, then approve or reject the verification. Only verified agents can publish listings.
The Payments register tracks every listing fee and site-visit fee. Confirm bank-transfer payments after checking the uploaded proof, waive fees where appropriate, and follow totals in the Payments Report.
Site-visit requests arrive with the visitor's contact details and fee status. Forward the property to the responsible agent for the visit — forwarding releases the protected location details to that agent only.
Manage the public website from the console: pages (About, Consultancy), blog articles, photo galleries, team members, and the property categories, regions and districts used across the site.
Platform Settings holds company contact details, social links, fees for Basic and Premium listings and site visits, and payment instructions. Selcom Settings connects the online checkout. Staff accounts are managed under Staff.
